Singing “You Make Me Feel So Young”

Here are the lyrics to this 1946 popular song by Mack Gordon:

You make me feel so young.
You make me feel so “Spring has sprung”,
And every time I see you grin
I’m such a happy individual.

The moment that you speak
I want to go and play hide-and-seek.
I want to go and bounce the moon
Just like a toy balloon.

You and I are just like a couple of tots
Runnin’ across the meadow
Pickin’ up lots of forget-me-nots.

You make me feel so young.
You make me feel there are songs to be sung,
Bells to be rung, wonderful fling to be flung.
And even when I’m old and gray
I’m gonna feel the way I do today
‘Cause you – you make me feel so young.

You make me feel so young.
You make me feel so young.
Ooo – you make me feel so young.

Thank you for your kind words. Captioning is an extremely tedious process for me at this time, but I will see what I can do about publishing more signed videos. I appreciate the request. 🙂

You have such a sweet face when you sing. Your eyes sparkle.

Having been in choir and drama musicals prior to becoming deaf, I can appreciate your songful sharings, even if I can’t hear it. You have a stage presence and a sweet disposition when you sing.

I’ve seen you sign and sing once before. Would enjoy seeing you do that some more, or perhaps captioning your vocals. I lip read you some, but couldn’t follow enough. Had to stop, scroll down, read the text then return and try to follow. Would be easier and more entertaining to us deaf folks who appreciate music to caption or sign along.

You glow when you sing. 🙂 I can tell you enjoy it! Sing on….
